A great time to plant fall bulbs that bloom in the Spring is the gardening "down
time" between Christmas and New Years. Call us for "chilling" advice on tulips and daffodills.

Be sure to "dead head" your pansies. Removing old flowers promotes new buds and keeps plants clean and green.

Add hollies to your garden this winter. Hollies have a great leaf color and their berries are favorites of mockingbirds and cedar wax wing.

Watering you garden before a hard freeze is a great gardening practice. The insulates plants from temperatures below 32 degrees F.

Yes, indoor blooming bulbs need lots of light. They stretch and look for light. Move them outside during the day while at work or play to keep them short, fat and blooming.

Cyclamen are usually treated as indoor plants, but they do well outside. Plant them in filtered sun and well drained soil. However, they do need protection below 30 degrees F.
